The lifespan of an Oxymed hyperbaric chamber is estimated at 39 years, providing it is used for 1 hour every single day. All materials used in the Oxymed chamber are fatigue tested. The body of the chamber is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) material equipped with welded seams and a proprietary 2-way zipper system. It also has an external zipper with a special overlapping strip securing its tightness. These features make our chambers unique. TPU material combined with polyester has also been used by NASA in their space suits. All the materials used are certified, non-toxic, and safe for the environment and humans. These features make our chambers unique.
OUR UNITS ARE CONSTRUCTED WITH the use of DURABLE WELDED SEAMS, HIGH-QUALITY THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE MATERIALS, AND A PROPRIETARY 2-WAY ZIPPER SYSTEM AND EXTERNAL ZIPPER THAT PUT OUR HYPERBARIC CHAMBER UNIT ABOVE THE COMPETITION
The materials used in the production are certified, non-toxic, and designed for high performance, featuring three durable layers of 44 oz.
